private lessons

1:1 lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and interests and run 55 minutes in length. our aim is to invite ease and expansion into our selves and our everyday lives. through gentle hands-on guidance, we explore simple movements like sitting, standing, walking, reaching, squatting, crawling, and constructive rest lying on a table. activity work such as playing an instrument, typing at a computer, vocalizing, or lifting can also be incorporated. comfortable clothing is necessary for freedom and full range of motion. please reach out for more information and pricing.

 

group workshops

group exploration is another wonderful way to engage with the alexander technique. the communal space and open dialogue along with the ability to collaborate and view others in action provides a uniquely dynamic way to integrate the work. topics may include: freeing the breath, the art of bending, response vs reaction, navigating changes with pregnancy and postpartum, sitting with support, nourishing touch, public speaking and on and on. please get in touch if you’re interested in organizing a group class or workshop. these offerings are ever evolving.
